The Event Spaces
The Delilah Beasley Tea held every year at the Pardee Home, situated in the side/back garden space.
The Pardee Home Museum offers rental facilities for your special event, including weddings and receptions, garden parties, fundraisers, community gatherings, photo shoots, and beyond.
Located in the downtown area of Oakland, the Pardee Home is one of the most beautiful Italianate villas in northern California. The museum location offers ample, free on-street parking for evening or weekend events. A fee-based parking structure is located close by for weekday gatherings. The museum, a neighbor to Preservation Park and Landmark Place, is easily reached from any point in the Bay Area.
The Pardee Home estate offers lawn space for upwards of 150 guests. The rear gardens are typically quiet and lovely, and your guests can really believe they have been transported back to a more gracious era!
A kitchen is conveniently located off the back porch and will be available for food storage and preparation during the day of the event.
The grounds and surrounding gardens on the estate of the Pardee home. Grassy areas make a perfect area for outdoor events, with the lovely backdrop of the water tower, shade trees and colorful garden flowers. Our guests hold weddings, receptions, birthdays, outdoor teas and special holiday events, like July 4th.
The renovated Rear Gardens, facing the charming 1868 coach house, offer a secluded and charming environment perfect for private events. The intact Coach House interior can be used for dancing, buffet-style food service, or other special activities you wish for your event. Capacity* // 40 seated; 65 standing *Note: while COVID19 safety precautions are in place, guest counts for the garden events are reduced. Please inquire for further details.
The Dining room is available for small parties and personalized tea parties. Capacity* // 12 seated; 25 standing Note: while COVID19 safety precautions are in place, there is a limit of 10 guests for indoor teas.

The grounds of the Pardee Home offer up many delicious spaces to gather and have fun with friends and community. The green grasses and shady trees, the bountiful flowers in the garden, all provide a beautiful backdrop to your private event. The Pardee Home rises up to every guest, whether indoors or out.
The Carriage House stands at the side of the Pardee Home property, next to the beautiful side yard garden, where teas are held, and where hold special private events. The space can be used for dancing, buffet-style food service, a staging area, or other special activities you have in mind for your private event.
